At the end of June SAG entered U15 and U17 teams in the George United Invitational tournament in George, This tournament was the first time that the U15 boys had played together competitively since being selected from the Academy Cup in May.

The U15 team fought hard in the competition and left the group stages undefeated, however, narrowly missed out on a win in the final with a 1-0 defeat to Saxon Rovers who had travelled from Cape Town for the tournament.

The U17 boys performed exceptionally well as always and soared through the tournament undefeated, taking a 1-0 win in the final against Vista F.C.

Despite losing out on the trophy SAG U15 goal keeper, Rubben, won U15 Goal Keeper of the Tournament and U15 player Ahlume won the Best U15 Player award. The SAG U17 team not only collected the trophy for first place but U17 goal keepers William and Anoxolo won the U17 Goal Keeper of the Tournament award and U17 player Ndumisu won the award for Best U17 Player; another very successful tournament for SAG!
