School Leavers Report

Here is an update on some of our stars off the field:

Luvi – He is currently studying at the Exercise Teaching Academy (ETA) on a 2 year bursary. He is also involved in the Sports Academy Primary Schools Projects.

Siposethu, aka Bro – He passed his final year at school, and is currently rewriting 2 subject to better his marks to get into Law School in Port Elizabeth in 2016.

Thabo – He started running the Muscle Room for Sports Academy in Feb and remains involved in our mentoring programs.

Armstrong – He is still with us as coach and mentor. In November 2015 he is looking to write an exam to better his marks that will enable him to also go into a 2 year bursary program at the Exercise Teachers Academy (ETA) in 2016.

Ntombovuyo, aka Noru – She started her studies at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth on a full scholarship. We were fortunate to have her on staff for a year and she is now pursuing her dream to do Business Management. We cannot wait for her return to George to assist in creating employment.

Vuyo, aka George Jnr Jnr – He is now second year in the Sol Plaatjie University in Kimberly studying Retail Management. He passed with high marks in all of his subjects in 2014.

Vuyo’s twin brother Vuyolwethu, aka George Jnr – He is into his second year at NMMU doing Woodworking Technology. He is making great progress and is working diligently on his future.

Derek – He remains at Hyundai and now has a bursary to become a technician with the company.

Danel – She completed her 2 years with ETA with highest praise from her lecturers. She is now employed part time by a local school and is also a netball coach with SAG.

Justin – He was unable to pass his second year of his Teaching degree. Please pray with us as we discuss and plan possible alternatives for the future.

This year we are looking forward to Mundi, Brian and Lez finishing school and we appreciate your prayers as we pursue the correct path for them to take in 2016.
